Nicole Scherzinger and Thom Evans fuel romance rumours with London shopping trip
Nicole Scherzinger and Thom Evans have been spotted on a shopping trip in London after sparking romance rumours on X Factor: Celebrity.
Former rugby player Evans, 34, competed in the X Factor spin-off show as part of boyband Try Star alongside fellow sports stars Ben Foden and Levi Davis, while Scherzinger, 41, appeared as a judge alongside Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh.
The rumoured couple, who are yet to officially confirm a romance, were pictured in Piccadilly on Tuesday evening.
Scherzinger dressed for the cool temperatures in a furry red coat and a black fedora.
Evans was carrying shopping bags and put an arm around the singer’s shoulder as the pair headed into a taxi.
Addressing the relationship speculation on The Dan Wootton Interview podcast earlier this month, Scherzinger said that she was focused on work commitments rather than romance after reuniting with girl band The Pussycat Dolls.
“Thom is lovely but what’s going on is that I am very busy,” she said.
“It’s been a very transitional transformation year for me and I am really focusing on distracting myself with my destiny.
“Truth be told, I really willed and prayed for this [reunion]. It took a lot of work. The timing was right. It took a lot of focus.”
Meanwhile Evans has described the star as “stunning, talented and amazing” but has admitted that the pair “don’t have much time” for romance.
The rugby star’s band made it to the semi finals of X Factor: Celebrity but were eventually sent home after Scherzinger chose to save girl group V5 in a sing-off.
