Jersey Shore Family Vacation” has become, in its own unique way, a very family-oriented show.

Storylines over the past five seasons have focused on cast members’ marriages, divorces, pregnancies and children.

The question of adoption came up on the Thursday, March 9, show, in reference to Angelina Pivarnick’s desire to have children. That led to the female roomies, who were at the Solvang Danish Days festival in California, to have a talk about their personal experiences with adoption.

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi was born in Chile and adopted by a couple of from Marlboro, N.Y.

“My mom couldn’t have babies so she was trying to adopt kids,” Nicole said. “She actually had a boy first and then that fell through. Then it was like, ‘Oh, we have a little tiny Chilean in Chile’ and she picked me up in six months.”

The Polizzis flew to Chile to pick Nicole, then named Claudette, up. She has not contacted her birth parents, nor any birth siblings she might have, she said.

“My mom said they had a lot of kids and they wanted to give me a better life,” Nicole, 35, said. “I’m so grateful. Can you imagine? I never really talk about me being adopted just because I’m so secure with how I ended up with my adoptive parents.

"They’re my parents. I never really had the urge to like, go and find my (biological) parents. If I had the chance to meet them, I think I would. I would love to see what my parents look like. And I had brothers and sisters, too.”

How many? Nicole, who is married with three kids, said she thinks she has 10 birth siblings.

Deena Cortese, who grew up in Plumsted Township, found out that her older sister was actually living down the street from her. Her parents had given her up for adoption.

“I didn’t know I had a sister until I was 7,” Deena said. “I always wanted a sister.”

Jenni “JWoww” Farley's mom was adopted.

“It was a closed adoption,” Jenni said. “She can’t even look up her records. The irony is since Ancestry, and 23 and Me came out, I see all my mom’s side popping up. It’s wild. I’m like, 'I don't want to (blank) meet these people.' ”

Angelina, who at 36 hears her biological clock ticking, said her mom once intimated that her dad might not be her birth dad.

“That’s a great thing for a mom to say,” Jenni said.

“If my father turned out not to be my father, it would actually make sense why I was treated differently than my sisters were growing up,” Angelina said. “Maybe he knows that I’m not his daughter.”

Angelina has options now that Vinny Guadagnino is out of the picture, and if the other Vinny from Staten Island doesn’t work out.

“It doesn’t have to be cookie cutter,” said Jenni, who has two kids from a previous marriage and is engaged to pro wrestler Zack Clayton. “You don’t have to find a man. You don’t have to get remarried. You can do it on your own.”

After the heart to heart, it was off to the Danish fest, which included beer, dancing, a ride on a motorcycle sidecar, and wooden shoes.

Angelina even got to hold a baby.

“So, this is where festivals go weird for me,” Jenni said. “When you start passing your kids to the Jersey Shore girl and you give it to the one who doesn’t have any kids.”

“Jersey Shore Family Vacation” airs at 8 p.m. Thursdays on MTV.
