Nicoletto’s Pasta eyes Mt. Juliet for expansion. Children's Lighthouse also coming soon

Nicoletto’s Pasta Co. is working on a plan that could potentially lead to a new location on Mt. Juliet's north side, according to property ownership.

The proposed site would be on the east side of North Mt. Juliet Road on property in front of Beniki Nailspa, said Mark Lineberry, with property owner Lineberry Properties.

A site plan has not yet been submitted to the Mt. Juliet planning department, but it is in the works, according to Lineberry. There has been a pre-application meeting with Mt. Juliet's planning department about a future location, the city confirmed.

A site plan will need approval.

Nicoletto’s is a Nashville-based company that offers made-from-scratch fresh pasta and bronze-cut pasta, according to its website. With its "fast-casual Nicoletto’s Italian Kitchen restaurants," the business also offers customers the chance to buy pasta product with a store concept.

Brothers Ryan and Danny Nicoletto launched the brand in 2016. Nicoletto's presently has locations in East Nashville and Donelson, according to the company website. It had a Hillsboro Village location that closed in June with the fulfillment of a lease, according to company social media.

Children's Lighthouse also coming

The state's first Children's Lighthouse Early Learning School franchise is expected to open at 9468 Lebanon Road in Mt. Juliet in the fall of 2024.

The early education provider targets infants starting at six-weeks old, toddlers and preschoolers. Children's Lighthouse will also provide before and after-school care for elementary school-aged children.

Kal Patel, CJ Patel, Danielle Luja and Mariano Luja will own the franchise.

The Mt. Juliet franchise anticipates working with around 180 students and 25-30 teachers and staff with competitive rates to retain employees and reduce turnover, Danielle Luja said.

A site plan will need to be submitted and approved for a new building that will be around 12,000 square feet.

"Mt. Juliet is growing with so many families moving into the area, and those families need high quality childcare that they can trust with their children," Danielle Luja said.

The Children's Lighthouse brand was established in Fort Worth, Texas in 1997 and has more than 60 franchises and 25 additional schools in development.
