A new band is hitting the historic stage at Mitchell Opera House. Night Owl Country Band will perform country and Christmas songs on Dec. 3 at 7 p.m., according to a press release.

The Night Owl Country Band, from Columbus, Indiana, has performed in venues such as the Grand Ole Opry, 8 Seconds Saloon, the Kentucky Opry, Wild Wing Cafe-Atlanta, Old Red-Gatlinburg, Rising Star Casino Resort and more.

The Night Owl Country Band is a 2019 International Singer Songwriter Award winner of "Band of the Year." Also in 2019, the band won the Josie Music Award for Album of the Year. Then, in 2020 they won the ISSA Single of the Year for their song "Made in America."

Tickets can be purchased at Ace Hardware in Mitchell, at the ticket booth the night of the event, or by visiting mitchelloperahouse.com

Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for kids 12 and under.

Doors will open at 6:15 p.m.
