According to Aspinwall Police Department on Facebook, the “constant power surges at the PWSA plant can cause added pressure and can overwhelm the system.”
Public Works is working on repairing the water main breaks, located in the 700 block of Center Avenue, 0 block of 5th Street and Field Avenue at 2nd Street.
Aspinwall police said residents will be notified if a water boil advisory takes effect and said if you have brown water, run cold water at your lowest faucet until it clears.
