Nightly highway lane closures expected this week; I-75 reconstruction project set to begin next week
Construction projects on I-75 will shut down parts of the highway beginning this week.
A lighting project on I-75 north between Little York road and I-70 will cause nightly lane closures from 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 a.m. These closures are expected to start on Tuesday and end on Thursday.

The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) announced a major reconstruction project of I-75 between State Route 725 and U.S. 35 with expected lane nightly closures starting March 26 thru April 21, from 7 p.m. - 7 a.m.
In addition to nightly land closures, ODOT said the reconstruction project would include ramp closures and traffic pattern shifts. Construction crews plan to shift one lane of northbound traffic to southbound, allowing three lanes of traffic in each direction of I-75.

Once the project is complete, I-75 will have new pavement, storm sewers, lights, and minor bridge repairs completed. The reconstruction is expected to be finished by the summer of 2025.
Those who use the ramp from Dryden road to I-75 north will need to find an alternate route, as the ramp is set to close on April 9. The ramp will be closed to reconstruction 1-75 in that area and is expected to reopen in July 2025. ODOT has suggested detouring around this by taking Dryden Roa to Northlawn Avenue, Springboro Pike (State Route 741), and then onto I-75 north.
