ZANESVILLE — Niko Moon, who topped multiple charts with his platinum-selling debut single, "Good Time," will headline the Muskingum County Fair Grandstand events.

The fair runs from Aug. 14 through 20 this year, and tickets are available online,  www.muskingumcofair.com.

General admission is $8, while children 5 and under get in free. Ride tickets are $1 apiece, 12 for $10 or an unlimited wristband for $20. Wristbands are $15 if purchased by 4 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Most rides require four to five tickets to ride.

Moon, a RCA Nashville recording artist, will perform at 8 p.m. Tuesday with special guest Bexar. Tickets are $40 for the Pit Pass General Admission-Standing Room in the Track Area and $20 for grandstand seats.

Tickets for the show are also available on the fair's website with a limit of eight tickets per transaction. There is a $5 fee for each ticket.

"Good Time" also helped Moon reach the top spot on Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart. He was born in Tyler, Texas, before relocating to Douglasville, Georgia, at age 10, which is equidistance from hip-hop hub Atlanta and country breeding ground Newnan, Georgia. It is those genres was inspired his artful persona, featuring a mix of hooky melodies, shrewd wordplay and edgy, electronic beats.

He has five songwriting No. 1 hits (Zac Brown Band’s “Loving You Easy,” “Homegrown,” “Beautiful Drug,” “Keep Me In Mind,” and “Heavy Is The Head”, and has co-pen credits on singles by Dierks Bentley and Ashley Monroe. He has also been named an artist to watch by CMT, Amazon Music, MusicRow, NY Country Swag, and more.

Harness racing will take place at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14, and kicks off the grandstand events with the truck and tractor pull at 7:30 p.m.

  • Sarge & Sons Demo Derby is at 8 p.m. Wednesday

  • Rough truck is at 7 p.m. Thursday

  • Antique and garden tractor pull is from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday

  • Great Lakes Championship rodeo bull riding and girls barrel racing at 8 p.m. Friday

  • Horse pull is at 11 a.m. Saturday

  • Truck, tractor and semi pull at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
