KEY ACTION: Approved chip and seal program

DISCUSSION: All of Parks Avenue NE, along with portions of Kenmore, Kilmarnock, and Nickleplate streets totaling 5.764 miles will be chip and sealed at a cost of $105,123.17 by 20 20 Enterprises of Somerset, Ohio, which was the lowest of the two bids received. Most of the roadways are already prepped, Interim Road Superintendent Jamie May said.

OTHER ACTION

  • Approved a $5,207 payment to Sarchione Ford of Randolph for engine repairs on a 2016 Ford ambulance.

  • Approved up to six memberships in the Louisville Area Chamber of Commerce at a cost of $165.

  • Approved proceeding with nuisance abatements at 5122 Glenoak Street and two properties on Rosedale Street at 5913 and 5935.
