Nina Wadia reveals sex secrets as she brushes aside 'Strictly' curse worries

Former EastEnders star Nina Wadia has no concerns about the infamous "Strictly curse" and credits her and her partner's love of role play in the bedroom with keeping their sex life fresh.
Wadia and her Canadian husband Raiomond Mirza have been married for 23 years, but the 52-year-old actor said things are still exciting between them — mostly thanks to terrible accents.

And with Wadia set to enter the relationship lion's den of Strictly Come Dancing this year, she's confident she and Mirza are immune to anything going wrong and describes him as "the best sex toy in the world".
"I can’t imagine still being with my husband if we’d run out of steam. Role play has come in very handy,” Wadia told The Mirror.
She added: "For me it’s accents. He’s crap at doing them, it’s just the fact he makes the effort.
"You have to be brave. It’s easier than you think because you’re not being yourself.”

Wadia appeared this year on the BBC's podcast Brown Girls Do It Too and said she wanted to squash the “shame and guilt” often felt by Indian women about enjoying sex.
She said she was only able to shed that shame and begin to enjoy her sex life in her late twenties, having grown up in India before moving to Hong Kong and later Britain.
Wadia and Mirza — a composer — met in Canada and have two teenage children together.
In the ballroom itself, Wadia — best known for playing Zainab Masood in Albert Square between 2007 and 2013 — is ready to go for it, regardless of what the judges say.
Wadia will compete alongside stars including comedian Robert Webb, Olympic swimming champion Adam Peaty and the BBC's Dan Walker.
She said: "I’ve always danced like nobody’s watching, so if we blindfold the judges I could win.”

Wadia rose to fame in the late 1990s as part of the cast of sketch show Goodness Gracious Me and appeared in other British comedies including The Vicar of Dibley and All About Me.
She joined EastEnders as part of the Masood family, which also included her husband Masood Ahmed (Nitin Ganatra) and son Tamwar (Himesh Patel).
