Nine more Lee schools to open Wednesday, bringing the total to 70 to open this week
Nine additional schools were cleared over the weekend to be re-opened Wednesday, bringing the total to 70 schools and eight special centers that will re-open this week, the Lee County School District announced Sunday.
As of Sunday, 11 schools and five special centers were waiting to be cleared for re-opening, the district said in a news release.
