Nine schools closed in Tangipahoa Parish due to low water pressure

TANGIPAHOA PARISH, La. (WGNO) — Nine schools in Tangipahoa Parish are closed on Friday, Jan. 19 due a lack of water pressure.

‘Operation We Care’ sending Louisiana king cakes to troops overseas

The Tangipahoa Parish School System made the announcement on Facebook, noting the following schools are affected:

• O.W. Dillon

• Kentwood High

• Sumner Middle

• Sumner High

• Chesbrough

• Spring Creek

• Loranger Elementary

• Loranger Middle

• Loranger High

School leaders said updates will be sent via email, text, the TPSS app, social media and more.
