Nintendo unveils new 'Pokémon Scarlet and Violet' special edition OLED Switch
Nintendo released a trailer on Wednesday for a new “Pokémon Scarlet and Violet”-themed OLED Switch console.
The “Pokémon Scarlet and Violet” Edition consoles are slated to come out on Nov. 4 with a price tag of $359.99.
The orange and purple Joy-Con controllers come adorned with the gold and silver emblems of the Naranja Academy and Uva Academy of the Scarlet version and Violet version, respectively. The three new starters — the grass type Sprigatito, the fire type Fuecoco and the water type Quaxly — are featured heavily on the back of the Switch itself.

“Pokémon Scarlet and Violet" box art legendaries Koraidon and Miraidon also stand out against the contrasting white of the Nintendo Switch console dock.

Released alongside the trailer for the new consoles is the third new trailer for “Pokémon Scarlet and Violet,” which showcases some new Pokémon, game features and antagonist team, Team Star.
The “Pokémon Scarlet and Violet” video games will be released on Nov. 18.
