Nipomo man suspected of child sex abuse arrested, SLO County Sheriff’s Office says

A Nipomo man was arrested Friday on suspicion of sexually abusing two teens for months, the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

Elijah Eric Machado, 21, is accused of sexually abusing two 15-year-old girls. The alleged abuse started when the girls were 14, the release said.

The Sheriff’s Office received a report of abuse on Nov. 24. Through the investigation, Machado was found to have committed various sexual acts with both victims over several months, the release said.

The San Luis Obispo District Attorney’s Office has not filed charges against Machado as of Monday afternoon, according to its online database.
