NJ Mirror & Glass destroyed in Kenilworth three-alarm fire

KENILWORTH – A local business, NJ Mirror & Glass, has been destroyed in a three-alarm fire early Saturday morning.

Around 3:26 a.m. Oct. 7, Township firefighters responded to NJ Mirror & Glass on Kenilworth Boulevard on reports of a structure fire. Upon arrival, firefighters reported visible smoke and fire on the exterior of the store, authorities said.

Firefighters fought the fire and put it out in three hours.

Firefighters from Union, Cranford, Roselle Park, Scotch Plains, Springfield, and Garwood fire departments responded to fight the blaze, authorities said.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
