No. 1 LSU baseball score vs. No. 3 Arkansas: Live updates from SEC heavyweight matchup
BATON ROUGE – No. 1 LSU baseball will try to capture the series victory when it faces No. 3 Arkansas in Game 3 of its three-game series from Alex Box Stadium on Saturday (6:30 p.m., SEC Network+).
This game was moved from Sunday to Saturday night due to Sunday's weather forecast. It will be the second game of a doubleheader.
On Saturday afternoon, Game 2 of the series, the Tigers (20-3, 3-2 SEC) scored 12 unanswered runs after surrendering a 2-0 lead in the first inning. Dylan Crews, Gavin Dugas and Tre Morgan all blasted home runs, as LSU finished the game with 16 hits.
Arkansas (20-3, 4-1) got a two-run home run from Jared Wegner in the first inning but proceeded to get just two more hits as a team for the rest of the game.
LSU starter Ty Floyd bounced back from his poor outing last Saturday against No. 18 Texas A&M, allowing just three hits in 6⅓ innings pitched and striking out seven batters.
LSU lost Game 1 of the series to Arkansas on Friday, 9-3 in 10 innings.
