BATON ROUGE – LSU women’s basketball ends a stretch with 4-of-5 at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
No. 14 LSU (16-2, 4-1 SEC) plays Vanderbilt (10-7, 1-2) on Sunday (noon, SEC Network).
LSU and Vandy did not play last season.
LSU and coach Kim Mulkey have won two straight and 15 of their last 16 games, including Thursday night’s 87-85 overtime home win over Missouri.
LSU will be playing without big Autumn Newby, a transfer from Vanderbilt who was injured in the victory over Missouri.
Vanderbilt has dropped two straight, including losses at Mississippi State and nationally ranked Tennessee, since opening SEC play with a home win over Arkansas.
