No. 15 LSU baseball will look to avoid a sweep against Ole Miss on Sunday (1:00 p.m., SEC Network+) after 5-3 and 11-1 losses on Saturday.

Ole Miss (30-19, 12-14) led 4-2 in the bottom of the third inning on Friday night before the game was suspended due to lightning in the Baton Rouge area. The game resumed on Saturday at 11 a.m. but LSU (33-17, 14-12) couldn't breakthrough, only scoring one more run on a solo home run from Jordan Thompson.

A rough start to the series then turned into a disastrous day for the Tigers, as Ole Miss scored four runs in the opening two innings and five runs in the fourth to pull away from LSU in Game 2, eventually winning 11-1.

LSU's Game 2 starter, Devin Fontenot, allowed three earned runs in just 1⅓ innings pitched. The Tigers bullpen surrendered eight more runs but only half of them were earned, as LSU's defense committed three errors.
