The College Football Playoff committee will likely have most of its attention on the game in Athens, Georgia Saturday afternoon.

Currently holding onto wins against No. 10 LSU and No. 6 Alabama, No. 1 Tennessee will travel to face No. 3 Georgia on the road for the Bulldogs first game of the season against a ranked opponent since the season-opening 49-3 win against now-No. 8 Oregon.

Georgia has won its last five meeting with Tennessee by an average margin of 28.6 points. The Volunteers last beat the Bulldogs in 2016 with a 34-31 road win after a 38-31 victory at home in 2015.

Georgia will take on Tennessee at 3:30 p.m. Saturday on CBS.

Clemson's prime-time meeting with Notre Dame doesn't have as much weight as it did heading into the 2022 season.

The Fighting Irish already have three losses on the season to Ohio State, Marshall and Stanford, while the Tigers are looking to boost its strength of schedule, beating No. 21 Wake Forest by six in double-overtime on the road, No. 22 NC State by 10 at home and No. 20 Syracuse by six at home.

Clemson is not scheduled to face a ranked opponent for the rest of the 2022 regular season with dates against Louisville, Miami and South Carolina scheduled after Notre Dame.

Clemson will kickoff against Notre Dame Saturday at 7:30 p.m. on NBC.
