LEXINGTON, Ky. — Tennessee basketball is chasing its first three-game winning streak at Rupp Arena in program history.

No. 23 Tennessee (11-4, 2-2 SEC) plays at No. 17 Kentucky (13-3, 3-1) on Saturday (1 p.m. ET, ESPN).

The Vols have won back-to-back games in Lexington. UT erased a 17-point deficit to win in March 2020 behind 27 points from John Fulkerson. Tennessee trailed by 10 before coming back to win in February 2021.

The Vols have beaten the Wildcats just six times at Rupp Arena. UT also won in 1977. 1979, 1999, 2006 and 2018.

Rick Barnes, who has an 8-6 mark against Kentucky as the Tennessee coach, has won three of those. UT has won three of its past four at Rupp.
