No. 4 Clemson softball score vs. No. 6 Florida State: Live updates from Top 10 series

CLEMSON — No. 4 Clemson softball is playing its biggest series yet against No. 6 Florida State. The Tigers adjusted the series schedule due to forecasted inclement weather and will host the Seminoles for a doubleheader Thursday and a final game Friday at McWhorter Stadium.

Clemson (37-1, 12-0 ACC) hasn't lost since Feb. 25 against Tennessee. The Tigers lead the league in batting average (.361), slugging percentage (.617) on-base percentage (.456). They lead the country in team ERA (0.73).

Florida State (29-7, 8-1) has never played at Clemson, and the Seminoles are 4-0 all time against the Tigers. They rank second in the ACC in on-base percentage (.422), third in ERA (1.83) and slugging percentage (.552) and fifth in batting average (.310).

Both teams have players at the top of the league in the circle. Clemson's Valerie Cagle has the ACC's top ERA (0.45), and Florida State's Kathryn Sandercock is second with 1.16.
