MASON, Ohio ‒ Greece's Stefanos Tsitsipas, the No. 4 seed, put together a spectacular semifinal performance Saturday night on Center Court to defeat No. 1 Daniil Medvedev 7-6(6), 3-6, 6-3, to earn a spot in Sunday's Western & Southern Open final against Borna Coric.

Tsitsipas, who's also still alive in the doubles draw and is supposed to have another match late Saturday, is in search of his first W&S Open title.

The tournament is guaranteed to have first-time champions this year in men's singles and women's singles.
