Tailback Larry Martin punched in a 2-yard run to make it 21-0 (4:32), and Logan Hehman fell on a blocked punt in the end zone less than a minute later to put AU on top 28-0.

Ashland scored its final points when defensive end Chris Julian recovered a fumble in the end zone with 1:03 left in the first half.

Brenner finished 6-of-9 passing for 82 yards and two touchdowns, and Martin led the Eagles with 76 yards and a TD on 16 carries. Gei'vonni Washington added 69 yards on just eight rushes.
