No. Of Dakota County Schools On MDH's COVID Outbreak List Reaches Zero

DAKOTA COUNTY, MN — The number of Dakota County schools on the Minnesota Department of Health's list of schools that have had recent outbreaks of the coronavirus has officially reached zero.

Highland Elementary School was the last Dakota County school on the list and made it off this week when it went 28 days without reporting any new cases.

There are only 11 schools on the list in the entire state.

"School buildings listed may not have ongoing transmission," MDH noted. "School buildings that have not reported a new case for 28 days will be removed. If five or more cases are reported in a school building in a subsequent 2-week period, they will once again be listed."
