You might have noticed that the apple in the sky is no longer lit on Bert Kouns Industrial Loop.

On March 28, Applebee's Grill and Bar announced on Facebook that they would be permanently closing the location at 1517 East Bert Kouns Industrial Loop.

In the post it stated, "we greatly appreciate our neighbors' patronage for the past 26 years. We invite you to visit us at one of our other Applebee's locations at 9088 Mansfield Road in Shreveport and at 2126 Airline Drive in Bossier City."

Applebee's has been bringing comfort food to neighborhoods all over the world since 1980. And, will continue serving the Shreveport-Bossier area on Mansfield Road and Airline Drive.

The property is currently available for lease or sell.
