No Guerrero or Ruidiaz for Peru's World Cup playoff in June

LIMA, Peru (AP) — Veteran strikers Paolo Guerrero and Raul Ruidiaz have been left out of the Peru squad for the World Cup qualifying playoff against an Asian team next month.

Peru will take on Australia or the United Arab Emirates on June 13 in Al Rayyan, Qatar. To warm up, Peru will play a friendly against New Zealand on June 5 in Barcelona.

Guerrero and Ruidiaz were key for Peru qualifying four years ago.
