Oct. 13—The coroner's office has not yet released an ID or cause of death for a woman found dead on open space but police have said they do not believe there is any danger to the public at this time.

Police responded to an open space area near 5815 Arapahoe Ave. at 5:30 p.m. Monday after receiving a report of a body.

The coroner's office has not yet publicly released the name of the woman.

Boulder police spokeswoman Dionne Waugh said the department is still working with the coroner's office on the case, but Waugh said at this time, "We don't believe there's any safety threat to the community."

The Boulder County Coroner's Office will conduct an autopsy and investigation to determine the official cause and manner of death.
