No injuries in Sunday shed fire near Litchfield

Mar. 22—LITCHFIELD — A shed fire damaged multiple items Sunday evening in Kingston Township, east of Litchfield, according to a news release from the Meeker County Sheriff's Office.

According to the release, emergency services responded to a report of a fire on the 31600 block of 700th Avenue where they learned that a shed full of wood started on fire and spread to a car and other items on the property, owned by Scott Johnson, 58.

The shed was a total loss and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is unknown.

The Dassel Fire Department and Rescue, Kimball Fire Department, Litchfield Fire Department and the Meeker County Sheriff's Office responded to the incident reported at 5:15 p.m. Sunday.
