The Oregon Ducks gained their second-biggest win of the season on Saturday afternoon, defeating the UCLA Bruins in a thrilling 34-31 contest at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.

During the celebration, Oregon head coach Mario Cristobal was on the field celebrating with his players and the fans in the stands, and he took a serious tone for a second.

“Hey! No more booing in Autzen, I don’t want to hear that s**t!”

A week after several fans in the Oregon student section let out a chorus of boos to show their feelings with Ducks quarterback Anthony Brown and an ineffective offense, it’s clear the Ducks were ticked. They didn’t make much of it throughout interviews with the media this week, but these comments make it clear that they had an impact.

We have been on a hard stance against booing players, especially at the college level. and don’t see a place for it in college football. But if the Ducks continue to play as they did for most of the game against the Bruins, fans will not even have a chance to boo going forward.
