No one hurt in Bridgewater house fire early Sunday morning

BRIDGEWATER - No injuries were reported in a fire that severely damaged a house on Hodge Drive early Sunday morning.

Cause of the fire is still under investigation as of Monday.

Arriving at the scene shortly after 4:30 a.m., members of the Martinsville Volunteer Fire Department found the house off Newmans Lane was fully engulfed in flames and immediately started the attack.

Also responding to the scene were the Finderne Fire Department, Green Knoll Fire Department, Warren Fire Department, Bound Brook Fire Department and Liberty Corner Fire Company.

Also on scene were the Bridgewater Police Department, Martinsville EMS and the Somerset County Mutual Aide Coordinators.

The Far-Hills Bedminster Fire Department and Watchung Fire Department stood by at the Martinsville Fire Department for coverage.

Government records show the Logan Farms development house was assessed at $681,200.
