The Giants received no positives from Friday’s batch of coronavirus tests as the team remains on track to face the Buccaneers on Monday night.

The Giants are one of four teams who have had a positive test this week. But the Vikings, Chargers and Broncos had all of their Friday tests come back negative, as well.

The Giants held virtual meetings Friday morning but the facility was open for an afternoon practice. The team will practice again on Saturday.

Will Hernandez, who tested positive earlier in the week, is not expected to be on the field against Tampa Bay. According to SNY’s Ralph Vacchiano, “If he remains symptom-free he can technically return to the Giants once he gets two negative COVID tests at least 24 hours apart, or after 10 days have passed since his first positive test. That technically means he could be available for the Giants game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday night, but multiple team sources have said he is not expected to return by then.”
