Because of high water levels in Honeoye Lake, boaters are urged to take caution.

In fact, the water level in Honeoye Lake is significantly higher than normal, according to Sheriff David Cirencione.

The Sheriff’s Office has issued a no-wake order in response.

Boaters are urged not to exceed 5 mph on the water until further notice.
