'No words for that': Student with special needs receives life-changing gift

For 10-year-old Hilary Patel, just having the opportunity to be mobile is a victory.

Thanks to the Louisville Kiwanis Club, she now has a special bike to help her get around.

The bike was designed and built specifically for Hilary. She has Aicardi syndrome, suffers from epilepsy and is blind, so a gift like this can be life-changing.

"She smiles so big when she's on the bike," Hilary's therapist Nikki Williams said. "There's not a lot that she can do that she really enjoys that's a recreational activity. She doesn't run or play with her friends, but she can do this."
