Noah Centineo Posted a Farewell Message to Peter Kavinsky of "To All the Boys I've Loved Before"

It's time for Noah Centineo and Peter Kavinsky to finally part ways.

The actor took to Twitter on Saturday, August 17 to share that he had wrapped filming on the To All the Boys franchise. “Tonight was my last night as Peter Kavinsky,” he wrote. “I hope you all love these last installments as much as we do. Forever grateful for the opportunity to be yours. Thank you Lana, thank you Michael, Thank you Matt, Thank you Netflix, grateful to every person who told this story with us.”

Lana Condor, who plays Lara Jean Covey in the popular Netflix franchise, responded by writing: “You’ll always be my Peter K. & I’ll always be your Lara Jean, that I can promise you.”

Both Noah and Lana’s tweets certainly have fans in their feelings. “Thank you for being our Peter Kavinsky,” one fan wrote to Noah, while another replied to Lana by saying: “YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO MAKE ME CRY LIKE THIS.” Other fans are jumping in to make sure Jenny Han, who wrote the three To All the Boys books, is receiving plenty of love and gratitude as well. “Without your books we wouldn’t have met this incredible cast and its incredible people,” one Twitter user said, while another added: “@jennyhan thank you for three of the best books we enjoyed reading which lead to this.”

Earlier this month, Lana and Noah filmed an adorable video to announce that To All the Boys 2: P.S. I Still Love You would be dropping on Netflix on February 12 (just in time for Valentine’s Day, of course). The stars also revealed that To All The Boys: Always And Forever Lara Jean was also in the works (which some fans already surmised after the actors were spotted on location).

While it might be goodbye for the actors, it’s just a “see you later" for fans, who will be able to relive Peter and Lara Jean's love story anytime they want via Netflix or Jenny’s original books. And with two additional movies on the way, there seems to be plenty more scrunchies and “whoa whoa whoa”’s in our future — and lots of love, too.
