NORTH BERWICK, Maine — Noble High School has announced the Top Students in its Class of 2022. The following students (in alphabetical order) are graduating Summa Cum Laude by earning a grade point average of 3.9 or higher.

Morgan Bill

Morgan Bill, niece of John and Kathy Sheedy, is graduating Summa Cum Laude from Noble High School. Morgan served as the secretary for the National Honor Society, and was a member of the student council. She received the Presidential Award for Educational Excellence, and was awarded the Mitchell Scholarship, the Richard H. Pierce Memorial Scholarship, the Husson University Trustee’s Scholar Award and the Husson University Beacon Scholarship. Morgan participated in Noble High School’s Vocal and Theater Excel program, and was a member of Noble High School’s Theater program. Morgan plans to attend Husson University to major in psychology.

Sydney Gray, daughter of Matt and Carrie Gray of North Berwick, Maine, is graduating Summa Cum Laude from Noble High School. Sydney received the Tulane Book Award and the Presidential Award for Educational Excellence, as well as the Colonel Richard W. Stillings Scholarship, the Earle C. Dutch Outdoors Education Scholarship, the Fred W. Fiel Memorial Scholarship, the Levasseur Family Scholarship, and the Elliott G. Gray Family Scholarship. Sydney was the President of the French Honor Society and was a member of the National Honor Society. She is an avid hunter and she studied dance at Dance Studio of Maine South in Sanford. Sydney will attend the University of Southern Maine in the fall.

Rebecca LaFrance, daughter of Heather and Wayne LaFrance of North Berwick, Maine, is graduating from Noble High School Summa Cum Laude. Rebecca received the Presidential Award for Educational Excellence, and the New England Horsemanship Council Junior Scholarship. Rebecca is an equestrian at Lucky Clover Stables. She will attend the University of New Hampshire in the fall to major in life sciences and agriculture.

Megan Lawrence, daughter of Lorell Lawrence of Berwick, Maine, and Wayne Lawrence of Somersworth, New Hampshire, is graduating Summa Cum Laude from Noble High School. Megan was a member of Noble’s indoor and outdoor track teams, as well as the cross country team. Megan is also a graduate of Sanford Regional Technical Center’s Law Enforcement program. Megan will attend the University of Southern Maine in the fall, and plans to major in chemistry.

Celia Momenee, daughter of Jessica and John Momenee of North Berwick, Maine, is graduating Summa Cum Laude from Noble High School. Celia served as Treasurer for the National Honor Society, and was a member of the Spanish National Honor Society. She was also on the Noble/Sanford varsity volleyball team. Celia received the Tyler Bisson Scholarship, the Kennebunk Savings Scholarship, and the Maine Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish. Celia plans to attend either Merrimack College or York County Community College in the fall.

Ella Moya, daughter of Elliott and Rebecca Moya of Berwick, Maine and Gina Urbini, of Cumming, Georgia, is graduating Summa Cum Laude from Noble High School. Ella served as captain of the lacrosse team as well as the Public Relations Officer of the National Honor Society. She was a member of the French National Honor Society, Phi Theta Kappa and she was on the Dean’s List at York County Community College for excelling in her early college classes. Ella received the Charles S. Hatch Scholarship, the Specialty Services Scholarship, and a Merit Scholarship to attend the University of Southern Maine, where she plans to study psychology in the fall. Ella plans to become a therapist once she completes her studies.

Emily Nicely, daughter of Aimee and Conrod Nicely, is graduating Summa Cum Laude from Noble High School. She received the Noble High School Varsity Cheerleading Coach’s Award, the Presidential Award for Educational Excellence and earned high honors at Noble High School throughout her high school career. Emily also participated in All-Star Cheerleading at Maine Stars Cheer Gym. She will attend Rhode Island College in the fall to major in nursing, with hopes to one day become a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.

Caleb Poulin, son of Veronica and Shayne Poulin of Lebanon, Maine, is graduating Summa Cum Laude from Noble High School. Caleb was one of Noble's top musicians throughout his high school career and participated in the jazz band, pit band, and trumpet excel. He was recently awarded the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award. A member of the National Honor Society, Caleb was honored as the House 2 Student of the Year. He received the Tyler/Grandmaison MELMAC Scholarship and the West Lebanon Ladies Circle Scholarship. Caleb will attend the University of New England in the fall to major in marine biology.

Alysa Rachkoskie, daughter of Shane and Karen Rachkoskie, is graduating Summa Cum Laude from Noble High School. Alysa was a member of the National Technical Honor Society, and earned high honors. She was awarded the Pratt & Whitney Scholarship. Alysa will attend York County Community College in the fall to major in engineering and architectural design.

Katelynn Reynolds, daughter of Christine Hudon of North Berwick, Maine, is graduating Summa Cum Laude from Noble High School. Katelynn was a member of Noble High School’s track and field team, the National Honor Society and the French National Honor Society. She was honored as the French Student of the Year and she received the Varsity Award and the Partners Bank Scholarship. Katelynn plans to attend Husson University to participate in Husson track and field and to major in exercise science.

Lily Smith, daughter of Amy and Daryn Smith of Berwick, Maine, is the Salutatorian of Noble High School’s class of 2022 and is graduating Summa Cum Laude. Lily was a member of both the National Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society. She completed five years of Spanish at NHS receiving top grades at every level. Lily was the recipient of the Maine Principal’s Award, and was chosen as the Team Two Student of the Year. She received the Clarkson Leadership Scholarship and the University of Maine Scholarship. Lily was a member of the lacrosse team and has danced with Brixham Danceworks for the past 15 years, recently mentoring the younger dancers. Lily will attend the University of Maine at Orono to major in biomedical engineering.

Lydia Solak, daughter of Tracy and William Solak of Berwick, Maine, is the Co-Valedictorian of the Noble High School Class of 2022 and is graduating Summa Cum Laude. She was a member of the National Honor Society and the math team. Lydia received the 2021 Phi Beta Kappa Award and the Clark/Clement Scholarship. She also volunteered as a dog walker at the Pope Memorial Humane Society in Dover, N.H. Lydia plans to become a veterinarian and will attend the University of New Hampshire in the fall, majoring in biomedical sciences.

Sage Study

Sage Study, daughter of Lise and Scott Study of North Berwick, Maine, is the Co-Valedictorian of the Noble High School Class of 2022 and is graduating Summa Cum Laude. Sage completed her diploma requirements in three years while earning top grades each semester. Sage earned the Social Studies, English, Art, Language (SEAL) Diploma Endorsement as well as many “Student of the Month” awards. An outstanding volleyball player, Sage starred for the combined Noble/Sanford team in addition to playing year round with her club team. Sage was also a member of the Noble High School track and field team. She will attend Nova Southeastern University in Florida, to major in Biomedical Engineering. Breenah Williams, daughter of Loren Szczygeil and Thomas Williams II and granddaughter of Debra and Thomas Williams, is graduating Summa Cum Laude from Noble High School. Breenah was a member of the symphonic band, chamber singers and she was involved in Excel, a program for gifted and talented students, where she participated in enrichment programs in art, writing, the saxophone and voice. She received the John Philips Sousa Award for her hard work and achievements in band and as a singer. After taking a gap year, Brennah plans to attend Southern Maine Community College to study horticulture.
