Noel Fielding joins Ed Gamble and James Acaster for special episode
Noel Fielding has joined Ed Gamble and James Acaster for an episode of the Off Menu podcast.
The Great British Bake Off host joined the pair to discuss his career, with the logline for the episode reading: “The Mighty Boosh and Bake Off star Noel Fielding is this week’s guest diner. Will he be serving up some violent quiche?”

The Off Menu podcast sees Gamble and Acaster “invite special guests into their magical restaurant to each choose their favourite starter, main course, side dish, dessert and drink”, with the comedians often taking a light-hearted approach to interviewing.
Fielding also appeared on the podcast to promote his upcoming project, The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin, which sees the comedian play the titular highwayman in the Apple TV+ series.
The six-part series will be a surrealist take on the legend of Turpin, charting his crimes involving horse theft to his run-ins with corrupt lawman Jonathan Wild (Hugh Bonneville). The cast for the series also includes Asim Chaudhry, Tamsin Greig and Mark Heap.

Fielding recently spoke about the series in an interview with the RadioTimes, revealing that the show would harken back to classic British comedy, saying: “I think it's maybe a return to British comedy in line with Monty Python, Spike Milligan, Peter Cook, Dudley Moore, Vic Reeves, Chris Morris – it's more that kind of ilk.
“Obviously, The Office is amazing and I love The Office, but I guess that spawned millions of other shows that were like that – very real and awkward. And this is much more visual and whimsical and joyful.”
The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin will premiere on Apple TV+ on March 1.
