These awards aim to recognize the “best of the best” in the Ross County tourism industry through various categories. This is an annual tradition by the Ross-Chillicothe CVB to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of those who contribute significantly to the tourism industry and spotlight those who have gone above and beyond to provide visitors with an unforgettable experience.

Categories for nominations include Volunteer of the Year, Frontline Associate of the Year, Behind the Scenes Associate of the Year, and Manager of the Year. Nominations can be made by any individual to recognize someone who has shown outstanding excellence to guests/customers. In addition, the Bureau issues its annual Grand Pineapple Award to an individual or group that collaborates with the Bureau throughout the year and demonstrates a strong commitment to increasing awareness and the success of tourism in Ross County.

Nominations for the Pineapple Award close at 3 p.m. on March 15, 2024. Individuals can obtain a nomination form through the Bureau’s website. Copies are also available to pick up at the Bureau’s office located at 230 N. Plaza Blvd.

The Pineapple Awards will be given during the annual Tourism Banquet in May which serves as the local kick-off event to celebrate National Travel & Tourism Week.
