Nominations are open for the 2022 Florida Times-Union EVE Awards.

EVE Awards are given to women in North Florida and South Georgia who contribute the most to the community during the past year and whose efforts made lasting improvements.

Nominees can include educators, leaders of nonprofits or other businesses, political or civic leaders,  or entrepreneurs.

The Times-Union honors 12 finalists. Last year's winners will choose three EVE Award winners. Those winners will be selected in three categories: education, employment and volunteer services.

The nomination phase runs through Sept. 9. Honorees will be announced Sept. 24.

A luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 1 at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville to announce the winners.
