Non-profit vet clinic adding new location in Oldsmar

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A non-profit organization that provides low-cost veterinarian care is planning on opening up another clinic location.

Harmony Vet Care currently has locations in Tampa (Town N Country), Brandon and Carrollwood.

Why will flags be at half-staff in Florida on Thursday?

Their fourth location is expected to open this April in Oldsmar at 300 State Street East.

“We are going to separate some of our doctors and surgeons, that way each location is able to do the exactly same thing,” Harmony Vet Care Manager Courtney Blanton said. “That way we can just help even more people in different locations.”

Harmony Vet Care has been providing affordable treatment in the Tampa Bay community for nearly six years.

“It’s great that there’s an affordable option that people can get the care they need for their pets,” Harmony Vet Care Client Tina Muhleisen said. “So many people just can’t afford it, so they don’t do anything about it and their pet suffers for it.”

Some of the clinics’ services include regular check-ups, vaccines, urgent care and even some dental procedures.

“We are able to do surgeries that other people are charging five, six grand,” Blanton said. “We’re able to do it for less than half the cost.”
