Nordstrom To Reopen At King Of Prussia Mall

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — King of Prussia Mall is slowly reopening back up, with certain restaurants and retailers on the premises now opening their doors with numerous health precautions in place.

Nordstrom officially reopened at King of Prussia Mall on Tuesday. Nordstrom Rack at the King of Prussia Town Center will reopen on Thursday, June 18.

The announcement is part of Nordstrom's phased "market by market" reopening approach. In addition to the King of Prussia stores, the Nordstrom Rack at Willow Grove Park, and Nordstrom Racks in Langhorne, Philadelphia, Allentown, and Lancaster will all reopen this week.

Nordstrom closed all its stores in March due to the coronavirus outbreak and, last month, announced that 16 stores would be closed permanently.

The company said the closures are a result of both the coronavirus, and market trends pushing more shoppers online. According to Nordstrom, more than half of their sales now come through their website.

Stores with exterior entrances at King of Prussia are now permitted to open, Simon Malls, the owner of King of Prussia Mall, said.

Other stores remain open for curbside pickup.
