Normani Announced as Global Ambassador for Savage x Fenty

Within only three months since the release of her debut solo has already been blazing her trail to the top. With a mind-blowing performance at the VMAs, a collaboration with Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj for the Charlie's Angels soundtrack, and multiple memorable style moments under her belt, there's no doubt the former Fifth Harmony member is quickly proving herself to be the icon that she is. In fact, Normani has made such an impact that even Rihanna — goddess of, well, everything — has climbed on board the stan-train.

On November 21, Rih's lingerie lineSavage x Fenty officially announced Normani will now serve as as the new global ambassador for the brand. In a press release, Rihanna said, "Normani is the perfect choice for a Savage X ambassador. She exudes confidence and power. Everything she does is executed with passion and the belief she’s going to kill it. That’s why people gravitate towards her.”

The news doesn't come as too much of a shock. During New York Fashion Week, Normani played a huge role in Rihanna's Savage x Fenty show, giving a truly exhilarating dance performance that left audiences taken back by her magnitude. Now as global ambassador of the brand, Normani will star in Savage x Fenty's campaigns, including their upcoming 2019 holiday campaign. Since launching in 2018, Rihanna has always ensured that Savage x Fenty puts diversity at the forefront of the brand, and this surely aligns with that.
