Norristown Public Library Reopens Building To The Public
NORRISTOWN, PA — After months of closure to the public amid the coronavirus shutdowns, the Norristown Public Library has opened up its indoor space to guests once again.
While the county's main library has continued to serve residents in a limited capacity with curbside pickup, this is the first time the interior of the library is being opened back up to in-person visits.
Limited hours are in place: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. It's closed Sunday.
There is also a restriction of 50 people on the main floor at any given time, and 15 on the second floor.
Masks are required at all times, and numerous other safety precautions will be in place, including hand sanitizer and regular cleaning of items, bathrooms, and the facility.
Public computers can be reserved by appointment only for 45 minute periods.
Curbside pickup remains available.
