North Carolina high school football scores, top performers in NCHSAA Week 4 Fayetteville NC

Seven high school football teams in Cumberland County didn't Friday night.

Jack Britt, Seventy-First, South View and Trinity Christian were the county’s only squads in action this week ahead of the start of conference play.

Here's a look at recaps from games involving Fayetteville-area teams:

Trinity Christian 66, Sandhills Titans 0

The Crusaders scored 52 points in the first half and never looked back in a dominant effort.

Diavante Shepard had four carries for 72 yards and three touchdowns - all in the first half. Jaden Clifton had three carries for 108 yards and two touchdowns, and Karlfonza Smith scored a touchdown on a 70-yard run.

Trinity also had a pair of kickoff returns for touchdowns and an interception return for a touchdown. Michael Ross Jr. and Khalil Willis found the end zone on the kickoff returns and Lavarion Peoples had a pick-six.

Seventy-First 35, Hoke County 15

Running backs Jayden Shotwell and Anthony Quinn Jr. combined for five touchdowns to lead the Falcons in their third straight win to start the season.

Quinn Jr. scored three touchdowns and Shotwell added a pair of long touchdown runs. Donavan Frederick and Omar Houston had 15 tackles each. Hector Bautista logged 13 tackles and Raymond McCray tallied 12.

Scotland 28, Jack Britt 27

Sincere Baines had 245 rushing yards and four touchdowns to lead the Bucs in a last-minute loss.

Running back Patrick Primus scored three touchdowns for the Scots and quarterback Carter Revelle tied the game with a touchdown run in the final minute before Cameron Cole's go-ahead extra point.

Richmond Senior 28, South View 19

Tariq Clarida had three passing touchdowns in the Tigers' third straight loss.

Clarida completed 12 of 22 passes for 211 yards. Brandon Sanders had five catches for 91 yards and two touchdowns. Christian Rutledge rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries.
