North Carolina Hospital Adds Overflow Tents as State Sees 'Record-Breaking' Coronavirus Cases

A hospital in Fayetteville, North Carolina, set up overflow tents outside its emergency department as the state experienced a surge in coronavirus cases, footage shared on December 11 showed.

It was the second time the health system erected tents during the coronavirus pandemic, local reports said.

The North Carolina Department of Health said December 11 was “another record-breaking” day of new cases.
