North Carolina officer suspected of having sexual relations with inmates

ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. (WAVY) – The Pasquotank County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an officer at the Albemarle District Jail (ADJ) who was suspected of having sexual relations with two female inmates.

According to officials, investigators interviewed 35-year-old Officer Christopher Fearing on Jan. 19 after receiving reports of Fearing being inside of a room with two different female inmates while alone.

During the investigation, Fearing admitted to performing and receiving sexual acts from the two inmates.

Fearing was then arrested and served with four counts of having a sexual act by a custodian.

Fearing is currently being held at the Currituck County Jail with a $25,000 secured bond.
