North Hills Teacher Tests Positive For Coronavirus

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — A Highcliff Elementary School teacher in the North Hills School District has tested positive for the coronavirus, the district announced.

The teacher has not been in the building since Sept. 17, and the teacher’s symptoms did not appear until several days later. No one from the district was in contact with the teacher and no further
action is necessary at this time.

While there is no district impact, the district said in a release that it is sharing this information
with families for transparency as stated in our health and safety plan and so everyone is familiar with our notification process when a COVID-19 case occurs within the district once students return to the classroom.
