North Jersey traffic hotspots - closures on the GWB, Disney on Ice at Prudential Center

Roadwork will cause daytime and overnight lane closures on major roadways including the George Washington and Bayonne bridges and Interstate 80. At the Prudential Center, Disney on Ice begins a five-day residence at the Prudential Center on Wednesday, followed by Seton Hall men's basketball on Monday and the 1975 on Tuesday. The Jets are at MetLife Stadium on Monday.

Bergen County traffic

  • The USBands Open Class National Championships will take place at MetLife Stadium on Nov. 4 at 8:30 a.m. The New York Jets are home at the stadium, taking on the Los Angeles Chargers, on Nov. 6 at 8:15 p.m., with parking lots opening at 3:15.

  • Horse racing at Meadowlands Racetrack in East Rutherford on Fridays and Saturdays may cause some extra congestion in the area.

  • The left lane will be closed for construction on Route 208 northbound between Cedarhill and Russell avenues in Wyckoff, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., on Nov. 1, Nov. 2 and Nov. 3.

  • One lane will be closed for construction on the I-95 northbound express lanes between exit 72A in Fort Lee and exit 70B in Teaneck, from 9 p.m. on Nov. 1 to 4 a.m. on Nov. 2. The southbound local lanes will be closed entirely in that area for sign work from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., through Nov. 3.

  • The right lane will be closed on Route 3 in both directions between the Berrys Creek Bridge and the New Jersey Turnpike Western Spur in East Rutherford, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 2 and Nov. 3. Two lanes will be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., through Nov. 4.

  • The New Jersey Turnpike Western Spur will be closed for attenuator repairs, construction and sign work between Ridgefield and Newark, from 9 p.m. on Nov. 3 to 6 a.m. on Nov. 4, and from 10 p.m. on Nov. 5 to 4 a.m. on Nov. 6.

  • The ramp to the James Gandolfini Service Area on the Garden State Parkway northbound in Montvale will be closed for construction and milling and paving operations, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., through Nov. 3.

  • Two lanes will be closed for longterm construction on Lemoine Avenue northbound, between Route 46 and Bridge Plaza North in Fort Lee, from 9 p.m. to 6 p.m., Nov. 3 through June 30.

  • The left lane will be closed for roadwork on Route 4 in both directions between Mackay Avenue and the Garden State Parkway in Paramus, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., through Nov. 4.

  • One lane will be closed on both levels of the George Washington Bridge eastbound, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., through Nov. 3. The entire Lower Level eastbound will be closed for construction, from 11 p.m. on Nov. 4 to 8 a.m. on Nov. 5.

  • The Fair Lawn Avenue bridge will remain closed between Second Street in Fair Lawn and Route 20 in Paterson for bridge replacement through Nov. 30.

Essex County traffic

  • Disney on Ice will be at the Prudential Center in Newark on Nov. 1 at 7 p.m., Nov. 2 at 7 p.m., Nov. 3 at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., and Nov. 4 and Nov. 5 at 11 a.m. and 3 and 7 p.m. On Nov. 6, the Seton Hall Pirates play St. Peter's in men's basketball at 7:30 p.m. And on Nov. 7 at 7:30, the arena hosts The 1975 Still...at Their Very Best.

  • One lane will be closed for construction on Route 23 in both directions, between Alexander Avenue in Pequannock and Little Falls Road in Cedar Grove, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., on Nov. 1 and Nov. 2.

  • Two lanes will be closed for drainage improvements and street sweeping on the New Jersey Turnpike Western Spur southbound between exit 15W in Kearny and exit 15E in Newark, from 9 p.m. on Nov. 1 to 4 a.m. on Nov. 2. All lanes will be closed for construction, guard rail repairs and sign work on the Inner Roadway southbound between exit 14 in Newark and exit 6 in Mansfield, from 9 p.m. on Nov. 1 to 5 a.m. to Nov. 2. The northbound ramp to exit 15E in Newark will be closed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Nov. 2 and Nov. 3. The Western Spur will be closed for attenuator repairs, construction and sign work between Ridgefield and Newark, from 9 p.m. on Nov. 3 to 6 a.m. on Nov. 4, and from 10 p.m. on Nov. 5 to 4 a.m. on Nov. 6.

  • The right lane will be closed for sign work on Route 1&9 southbound near Delancey Street in Newark, from 8 p.m. on Nov. 2 to 4 a.m on Nov. 3.

  • The right lane will be closed for roadwork on I-280 eastbound near exit 13 in Newark, from 10 p.m. on Nov. 3 to 6 a.m. on Nov. 4.

  • Up to two lanes will be closed for drainage improvements on Route 21 in both directions between exit 7 in Belleville and exit 12 in Passaic, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., through Nov. 16.

  • Bridge work will keep the ramp from Clifton Avenue to I-280 in Newark closed until Jan. 31.

Hudson County traffic

  • Two lanes will be closed for drainage improvements and street sweeping on the New Jersey Turnpike Western Spur southbound between exit 15W in Kearny and exit 15E in Newark, from 9 p.m. on Nov. 1 to 4 a.m. on Nov. 2.

  • All lanes will be closed intermittently for sign work on Route 1&9 southbound between 83rd Street in North Bergen and North Avenue in Elizabeth, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Nov. 1 and Nov. 2.

  • The right lane will be closed for roadwork on Truck Route 1&9 northbound at Hackensack Avenue in Kearny, from 8 p.m. on Nov. 1 to 5 a.m. on Nov. 2.

  • The right lane will be closed for bridge construction on the Bayonne Bridge southbound, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 2, and from 7 to 10 a.m. on Nov. 4.

  • The Lincoln Tunnel South Tube eastbound will be closed for construction, from 11 p.m. on Nov. 2 to 5 a.m. on Nov. 3.

  • The right lane will be closed for construction in the Holland Tunnel South Tube eastbound, from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m., through Nov. 3.

  • One lane will be closed for bridge inspection on the New Jersey Turnpike Hudson County Extension westbound, between exit 14A in Jersey City and the Newark Bay Bridge, from 6 to 10 a.m. on Nov. 5.

Morris County traffic

  • The right lane will be closed for construction on Route 46 westbound between Netcong Road in Mount Olive, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Nov. 1.

  • The right lane will be closed for construction on Route 202 northbound near Route 10 in Morris Plains, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 1

  • The right lane will be closed on Route 10 eastbound near Ramada Drive in East Hanover, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., through Nov. 2.

  • One lane will be closed for construction on Route 23 in both directions, between Alexander Avenue in Pequannock and Little Falls Road in Cedar Grove, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., through Nov. 2.

  • The left lane will be closed for construction on Route 10 eastbound ramp to eastbound Dryden Way in Parsippany, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., through Nov. 3.

  • Up to two lanes will be closed for roadwork on I-287 northbound near exit 39 in Hanover, from 8 p.m. on Nov. 2 to 5 a.m. on Nov. 3.

  • The right lane will be closed for drainage improvements on Route 10 eastbound between the Ledgewood traffic circle in Roxbury and I-287 in Hanover, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., through Nov. 3.

  • The left lane will be closed for construction on Route 46 westbound near I-80 in Parsippany, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., through Nov. 3.

  • The right lane will be closed for tree trimming on Route 23 southbound between Jackson Avenue in Pequannock and Route 202 in Wayne, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., through Nov. 3.

  • The right lane will be closed for curb work on Route 15 southbound near Berkshire Valley Road in Jefferson and Rockaway, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Nov. 3, and from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Nov. 4.

  • Up to two lanes will be closed for roadwork on I-287 northbound near exit 39 on Route 10 in Hanover, from 8 p.m. on Nov. 3 to 5 a.m. on Nov. 4.

  • Up to two lanes will be closed for roadwork on I-80 westbound between exit 57 in Paterson and exit 47A in Fairfield, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., through Nov. 4.

Passaic County traffic

  • The left lane will be closed for roadwork on I-80 eastbound near exit 60 in Paterson, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., on Nov. 1 and Nov. 2.

  • The right lane will be closed for tree trimming on Route 23 southbound between Jackson Avenue in Pequannock and Route 202 in Wayne, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Nov. 1, Nov. 2 and Nov. 3.

  • One lane will be closed for bridge inspection on Route 21 northbound near exit 14 on Route 46 in Clifton, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 3.

  • The ramp to Notch Road will be closed for construction and detoured on Route 46 eastbound through Nov. 3.

  • Up to two lanes will be closed for roadwork on I-80 westbound between exit 57 in Paterson and exit 47A in Fairfield, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., through Nov. 4.

  • The exit 156 ramp will be closed for sign work on the Garden State Parkway northbound, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., through Nov. 4.

  • All lanes will be closed intermittently for construction on Route 46 in both directions near the Garden State Parkway in Clifton, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., through Nov. 4.

  • The right lane will be closed for utility work on Route 23 in both directions from I-80 in Wayne to Hamburg Turnpike in West Milford, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., through Nov. 10.

  • The Fair Lawn Avenue bridge will remain closed between Second Street in Fair Lawn and Route 20 in Paterson for bridge replacement through Nov. 30.

  • Construction will continue to keep the Route 46 westbound ramp to Valley Road in Clifton closed until Feb. 4.

Sussex County traffic

  • The left lane will be closed for construction on Route 15 southbound near Blue Heron Drive in Sparta, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Nov. 1, Nov. 2 and Nov. 3.

  • Two lanes will be closed for construction on Route 206 southbound near Waterloo Road in Stanhope, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., through Nov. 3.

  • All lanes will be closed and detoured northbound, and all lanes will be closed southbound for utility work on Route 94 near North Church Road in Hardyston, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., through Nov. 4.
