North Jersey traffic hotspots: Jets at MetLife, NJ/NY Gotham FC soccer at Red Bull Arena

As pumpkin-picking season continues, the West Milford Police Department is taking measures to try to alleviate traffic on the weekends through the rest of the month, specifically on Greenwood Lake and Warwick turnpikes. There may be heavy traffic in the area, so plan extra time or alternate routes for travel.

The Prudential Center will host Kirk Franklin's Reunion Tour tonight, Ms. Lauryn Hill & the Fugees on Tuesday, Enhypen on Wednesday and Thursday, Lauren Daigle on Friday and Luis Miguel on Sunday. The New Jersey Devils will take on the Panthers at the Rock Monday.

The New York Jets are back at MetLife Stadium today with a 4:25 p.m. kickoff. The lots open in the morning, so expect traffic to start building early around the Meadowlands.

Elsewhere in North Jersey, be on the lookout for roadwork that will cause lane closures on major roadways, including the Garden State Parkway and Interstate 80.
