Bergen County traffic

  • Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will perform at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford on Aug. 30, Sept. 1 and Sept. 3. The concerts may cause congestion at Exit 16W on the New Jersey Turnpike; Routes 3, 17 and 120; Interstate 495, the Lincoln Tunnel, and the George Washington Bridge. A Pre-Concert Experience will take place at the American Dream mall each day, from noon to 6 p.m.

  • Horse racing at Meadowlands Racetrack in East Rutherford from 6:20 to 11 p.m., Sept. 1 through Sept. 9 may cause traffic issues around the area of the complex.

  • The outdoor Meadowlands Marketplace at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, Sept. 2 through Sept. 9, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., may cause some extra congestion in the area.

  • The left lane will be closed for bridge inspection on Route 46 westbound near Outwater Lane in Saddle Brook on Aug. 30, from 1 to 3 p.m.

  • At least one lane will be closed for paving operations on the Garden State Parkway northbound between Exit 159 in Saddle Brook and Exit 163 in Paramus, from 8 p.m. on Aug. 30 to 6 a.m. on Aug. 31.

  • One lane will be closed for construction on Route 46 eastbound near Summit Avenue in Hasbrouck Heights, from 9 p.m. on Aug. 30 through 5 a.m. on Aug. 31.

  • One lane will be closed for construction on Route 208 northbound between Cedarhill Avenue and Russell Avenue in Wyckoff, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., through Aug. 31.

  • One lane will be closed for construction on the George Washington Bridge Upper Level eastbound, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., through Aug. 31; and from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., through Sept. 1. All lanes will be closed on the Lower Level, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., through Sept. 1.

  • Two lanes will be closed for a moving line striping operation on Route 17 northbound between East Saddle River Road in Ridgewood and Lake Street in Ramsey, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Sept. 1.

  • At least one local lane will be closed for roadwork on I-80 eastbound near Exit 66 in Hackensack, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., through Sept. 1.

  • The right lane will be closed for construction on Route 17 northbound near Ridgewood Avenue in Paramus, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sept. 5 through Sept. 9.

  • Two lanes will be closed for construction on Route 4 westbound, between Belle Avenue and River Road in Teaneck, from 11 p.m. on Sept. 9 through 8 a.m. on Sept. 10.

  • The Fair Lawn Avenue bridge will remain closed between Second Street in Fair Lawn and Route 20 in Paterson for bridge replacement through Nov. 30.

Essex County traffic

  • The left express lane will be closed for roadwork on I-78 westbound near Exit 58 in Newark on Aug. 30, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

  • The New Jersey Turnpike Outer Roadway southbound will be closed between Exit 14 in Newark and Exit 6 in Mansfield, from 8 p.m. on Aug. 30 to 7 a.m. on Aug. 31.

  • The left lane will be closed for drainage improvements on Route 10 in both directions from the Ledgewood traffic circle in Roxbury to Prospect Ave in West Orange, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., through Aug. 31. A moving operation in this area will close one lane in each direction, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., through Sept. 2.

  • Two lanes will be closed for utility work on Route 21 northbound near exit 5 in Newark, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., Aug. 31 through Sept. 1.

  • At least one lane will be closed in both directions for construction on Route 21 between Exit 7 in Belleville and Exit 12 in Passaic, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., through Sept. 1.

  • The right lane will be closed for landscaping on Route 21 northbound between South Street and the Prudential Center in Newark, from 7 p.m. on Sept. 10 to 3:30 a.m. on Sept. 11.

Hudson County traffic

  • The Brick City HBCU Kickoff Classic football game on Sept. 2, from 3 to 6 p.m., with the Hampton University Pirates vs. Grambling, at Red Bull Arena in Harrison may cause some delays in the area, including I-280.

  • Two lanes will be closed for road maintenance operations on Truck Route 1&9 southbound at the Hackensack River Drawbridge in Kearny/Jersey City, from 9 p.m. on Aug. 31 through 4 a.m. on Sept. 1.

  • The right lane will be closed for construction in the Holland Tunnel South Tube eastbound, from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., through Sept. 1.

Morris County traffic

  • The left lane will be closed for drainage improvements on Route 10 in both directions from the Ledgewood traffic circle in Roxbury to Prospect Ave in West Orange, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., through Aug. 31. A moving operation in this area will close one lane in each direction, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., through Sept. 2.

  • At least one lane will be closed for construction in either direction on Route 15 near Berkshire Valley Road in Rockaway and Jefferson, deom 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., through Sept. 1.

Passaic County traffic

  • The right lane will be closed for construction on Route 20 in both directions between the Route 46 split in Clifton and E. 30th Street in Paterson, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., through Aug. 31.

  • At least one lane will be closed in both directions for construction on Route 21 between Exit 7 in Belleville and Exit 12 in Passaic, from 8 p.m. to 6 am., through Sept. 1.

  • At least one lane will be closed for roadwork on I-80 westbound between Exit 59 in Paterson and Exit 47A in Parsippany, between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., through Sept. 1.

  • The right lane will be closed on Route 20 northbound, between Route 46 in Clifton and 20th Avenue in Paterson, for drainage improvements and longterm construction until Sept. 29.

  • The Fair Lawn Avenue bridge will remain closed between Second Street in Fair Lawn and Route 20 in Paterson for bridge replacement through Nov. 30.

  • Construction will continue to keep the Route 46 westbound ramp to Valley Road in Clifton closed until Feb. 4.

Sussex County traffic

  • All lanes will be intermittently closed for roadwork on Route 206 northound near Route 94 in Newton on Aug. 29, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

  • The right lane will be closed for drainage improvements on Route 206 southbound near Waterloo Road in Stanhope, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., through Aug. 31.

  • The right lane will be closed for construction on Route 15 southbound at the Sparta Bypass, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., through Aug. 31.
