North Salem quarterback TC Manumaleuna has earned a second scholarship offer, this time from Florida State.

The Vikings’ sophomore has an offer from Oregon that he earned before he started high school.

“I wasn’t expecting it, but the coaches reached out to my dad last night,” Manumaleuna said. “They said they liked my poise as a quarterback and my ability to be a field general.”

Manumaleuna, who is not yet rated by 247Sports.com or Rivals.com, helped North Salem go 7-4 this season, including a Class 5A state playoff win against Crater, its first postseason victory since 2004.

The Vikings’ season ended with a second-round loss at eventual state champion Silverton.
