Northeast Florida high school football: Week 10 stars from Fletcher, Menendez, Yulee, more

This week's list includes top performers from high school football games played during Week 10 in Northeast Florida.

QB Ben Burk, Ponte Vedra

The junior passed for 168 yards and two touchdowns, and rushed for 108 yards and another TD, to lead the Sharks past Nease 35-34 in overtime in the Battle of the Bridge.

DT Symeon Cobham-Portorreal, Jackson

The senior defensive lineman scored the go-ahead second-half pick-six to spark Jackson past Raines 21-12, securing the Tigers' first district championship since 2009.

RB Christian Coleman, Menendez

The running back carried for all three Falcon touchdowns and 143 yards, defeating Matanzas 18-6.

K Ronald Daragjati, Creekside

The senior kicker converted a career-high five field goals as the Knights beat Atlantic Coast 36-7.

DB C.J. Davis, Fletcher

The senior blocked a punt to create a touchdown and intercepted a pass as the Senators topped First Coast 30-18 to clinch District 1-3M.

ATH Josiah Evans, Yulee

The senior starred on both sides of the ball in a 21-14 win over Fernandina Beach, catching 10 passes for 90 yards and intercepting two passes.

ATH Jayden Harris, Bishop Kenny

The senior caught a first-half touchdown reception and made a key fourth-quarter interception as the Crusaders defeated Bolles 14-13 to beat their private-school rivals for the first time since 1977.

QB Locklan Hewlett, St. Augustine

The sophomore completed 17 of 24 passes for 311 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Yellow Jackets' district-clinching 45-7 win over Clay.

RB T.J. Lane, Middleburg

The senior rushed for three touchdowns and 351 yards, playing just over one half of football, in the Broncos' 35-14 win over Orange Park.

LB Lashun Mays, Parker

Recorded 15 tackles, four for loss, to lead Parker's defense in a 6-0 shutout win over Englewood.

ATH Davaughn Patterson, White

Rushed 11 times for 102 yards and two touchdowns, and also intercepted a pass on defense in the Commanders' 34-0 win over Westside.

RB Cam Smith, Baker County

Returned a kickoff for a touchdown, rushed 14 times for 119 yards and two touchdowns, caught four passes for 141 yards and a fourth touchdown and gained 370 all-purpose yards to beat Fernandina Beach 43-17.
